Mélanie’s professional journey

EQ-i 2.0® and EQ-360® certified Master Trainer by Multi Health Systems Inc, consultant and certified professional coach in neurolinguistics programming recognized by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Mélanie is an expert in the development of individual and collective leadership and emotional intelligence skills.

Former federal public servant, she cumulates 24 years of professional experience in the public sector (e.g. Health Canada, Public Services and Procurement Canada, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada) and in the private and not-for-profit sectors, particularly in the areas of team management, strategic planning, human resources, training, nationally based project management and entrepreneurship.

Guided by her passion for the human being, its relational dimension and its ability to communicate, Mélanie helps individuals and organizations to optimize their full potential by relying on the merits of innovation and human excellence. She works with various partners to promote, develop and implement generative leadership with professionals, business owners and leaders at all levels of experience and hierarchy.

Business-Owner since 2012, she has been involved in her professional community as a member of the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Association québécoise du codéveloppement professionnel (AQCP). Mélanie acts as a mentor to support the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Her professional development comes from the areas of communication, human resources, leadership and emotional intelligence (EI). She has accumulated more than 2,500 hours of training, including a specialized professional certification in corporate coaching (she is progressing towards her PCC— Professional Certified Coach Level), university studies in industrial relations and human resources, and certification in leadership and managerial skills from the Montreal Leadership Institute jointly offered with the John Molson’s School of Management at Concordia University. Mélanie is also certified in the assessment tools of the EQ-i 2.0®— Emotional Quotient, the EQ 360®— Emotional Quotient and 360° Feedback, the Change Style Indicator (CSI®), the Change Navigator® the Influence Style Indicator™ (ISI™) and the D.I.S.C.®— Personality Quotient.

Fluent in both official languages, Mélanie is proficient in serving her clients in both English and French.
